A Quick Update From the Farm: Focusing on the Foundation
First, thank you so much to everyone who has been reaching out, checking in, and expressing interest in coming to visit. It is genuinely heartening to know there is so much enthusiasm for what I’m building here.
However, I want to gently share an important update: the farm and workshop are not open to visitors, and will not be for at least another year.
Why We Aren't Open Yet
While automated posts have kept the background wheels turning online while I've been away dealing with personal matters, the reality on the ground is very different. Right now, I am strictly in the building and preparation phase.
Getting a property to a place where it is legally, safely, and practically compliant to host the public is a massive undertaking. There is a mountain of infrastructure work, heavy building, and compliance steps that have to happen first. Simply put, the property is not set up for visitors, and trying to host people right now would compromise both safety and the progress of the work.
What's Happening Right Now
Now that the endless rain has finally stopped, my entire focus is outside in the dirt and inside the workshop:
Getting seedlings in: The seed trays are lined up and ready to go as we take advantage of this break in the weather to get crucial plants started.

Some of the many seed trays, coming ready to plant out. Tackling the land: The gardens are still very much a work in progress—lots of half-dug earth and heavy lifting ahead.

Turning the ground over again for the new seedlings Fixing up the infrastructure: Even the tunnel house is getting a complete refresh, with the old cover pulled off so we can prep the inside beds before the new cover goes on.

Cleaning the tunnel house up and filling with new soil before putting the new cover on.
I am pouring my energy into building strong foundations—both literally and figuratively.
Thank You for Your Patience
I know many of you are eager to see the products and the space, and I am so excited to share it all with you when the time is right. But rushing that process isn't possible.
Please respect that I cannot accept visitors right now. Your patience, understanding, and space to let me do the heavy lifting—while navigating life's heavier moments—mean more than words can say.
Warmly,
Brenda
